Another year, another clash between Cork and Kerry in the Munster SFC.
Kerry’s dominance in this province has possibly eroded the sharpness in the rivalry between these two sides, but Cork have enjoyed a lot of buoyancy in recent times.
They’ve already bagged promotion out of Division 3 and they certainly gave Peter Keane’s side a scare in last year’s Munster final.
They’re meeting in the semi-final this time around with a final date with Tipperary up for grabs at Páirc Uí Chaoimh.

Can you believe that? Cork have dumped Kerry out of the championship and booked their place in the Munster final at the same time after a late goal from Mark Keane.
Unbelievable result for Ronan McCarthy’s side.
Keane was quiet after coming in off the bench but when a contribution was needed, he delivered in abundance. Luke Connolly was surely going for a point with that last kick, but his effort dropped short and into Keane’s hands.
He didn’t waste a second as he rattled the ball into the back of the Kerry net.
